Spent my New Year's break at a colonial-style hotel with a classic Indo-Chine feel. Loved the spacious deluxe suite with a separate living room, and a king size bed to happily accommodate all 4 of us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect as it was close to good restaurants and bars, and the beach was within reach. Free Wi-Fi, cable TV and complimentary toiletries were a bonus.
Rooms can be a bit tired and worn out, and the bathrooms can feel a bit pokey. The street-facing rooms were a bit noisy, keeping us up at night.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. They tried their best to help us with our needs. the hotel is also strategically located near restaurants and bars, making it easy to find something to eat or drink. We particularly enjoyed the cable car ride that was just a few minutes away from the hotel.
The hotel is in dire need of maintenance. the paint is chipping off, and overall, it feels like the place is old and not well-maintained.
